Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

    1. The author has never published his/her writing in another article or is currently submitting his/her article to another journal.
    2. Abstracts are written in Indonesian and English using Arial font size 10, single-spaced, and with a text length of between 100 and 150 words. For articles in English, the Indonesian abstract does not need to be included. The Indonesian version of the abstract is written in standard Indonesian with refined spelling. Abbreviations and mathematical formulas should be avoided in the abstract. The abstract briefly describes the problem, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions. The English version of the abstract is written in English in the form of past tense and reasonable sentences. Results and conclusions are written in the present tense. The abstract is expected to be more communicative and not monotonous.
    3. The introduction contains the background, theoretical basis, problem, problem-solving plan, and research objectives. The introduction is written using Arial font, size 11, single-spaced.fist line 0,38 inch.
    4. Text is typed inside a print area with margins of 1.2 inches from the top, 1 inch from the bottom and left of the paper. The right side margin is 0.8 inches. Size paper A4, 8.27 inches wide, 11.69 inches high. Layout: 0.5 inch header, 0.5 inch footer. Text does not need to be paged.
    5. The content of the article is typed in a two-column format (column width = 2.98 inches and column spacing = 0.5 inches).
    6. Articles are original research results or reviews of previous articles. They can be written in Indonesian or English. Articles should be between 15 and 20 pages, including the list of references.
    7. The systematics of writing research articles consists of the title, author's name, institution and correspondence address, abstract, keywords,abstract, keywords,introduction, methods, results and discussion, conclusions and suggestions, acknowledgments and list of references. Systematics of writing conceptual articles (containing the results of the research)review) consists of title, author's name, institution and correspondence address, abstract, keywords,abstract, keywords, introduction, main body, summary and list of references.
    8. The title of the article is written using Cambria font size 14, maximum 12 words and describes the contents of the manuscript.
    9. The author's name is written using Cambria font size 12 without a title, without abbreviating the first and last name. The names of authors from different institutions are indicated by using superscript behind the name.
    10. The manuscript is presented narratively (without numbering in front of the subtitles) and presentation in the form of subtitles is avoided.
    11. Image inserted inside text box and figures caption are placed below the figure. Figure captions are numbered and the figure must be referenced in the text. Figure captions begin with a capital letter. Captions that are more than one line long are single-spaced. Figures are drawn with a line width of 1 pt and should have good contrast.
    12. Results are the main part of a scientific article, containing: net results without data analysis, and hypothesis testing results. Results can be presented in tables or graphs to clarify the results verbally.
    13. The discussion is the most important part of the entire scientific article. The purpose of the discussion is to answer the research problem, interpret the findings, integrate the research findings into the existing body of knowledge, and develop new theories or modify existing ones.
    14. The table is created with a line width of 1 pt andtables caption(table caption) is placed above the table. Table captions consisting of more than 2 lines are written using single spacing. Table lines are prioritized as horizontal lines only while vertical lines are omitted.
    15. The conclusion contains answers to the research questions. Recommendations refer to the research results and are in the form of practical actions. State who the suggestions are for and what they are intended for. They are written in the form of essay, not in numerical form.
    16. If applicable, acknowledgements should be addressed to the official institution or individual who funded or otherwise contributed to the research. The acknowledgements should include the research contract number.
    17. The bibliography consists of the author's name, year of publication, article title, city name, and publishing institution. The reference list is arranged according to the first letter of the author's name (A-Z). The second word in the name is agreed to be the family name. All references referred to in the text must be listed in the reference list. The reference list should preferably be minimum 10 articles taken from the most recent journals/publications no more than 5 years prior to the submission of the article (paper submission).
